Collaborate with RAYA!
We are actively seeking research and practice partners, co-investigators, graduate students, and early-career scholars to collaborate on existing datasets and new research initiatives. Explore the sections below to find the right opportunity for you.
New and Upcoming Projects
We are building new collaborative initiatives focused on supporting adaptive development in adolescence and young adulthood.
Positive Transitions to Adulthood: Navigating major life transitions from adolescence through young adulthood, including entering and exiting higher education and early workforce experiences.
Behavioral Health & Social Contexts: Promoting social support, healthy relationships, place-based connections, and psychological well-being.
Trauma & Resilience: Understanding mechanisms of adaptation and thriving despite adversity.
Who are you looking to partner with on new projects?
We welcome partnerships with academic researchers across disciplines, methodological experts, nonprofit and practice-based organizations, higher education practitioners, and grant co-investigators. Whether you are interested in joint grant proposals, co-designing interventions, or multi-site data collection, we would love to connect.
Can I use your existing datasets for new publications or research?
We strongly support early-career development and invite graduate students, postdocs, and early career researchers to leverage our previously collected datasets for first-author or co-authored publications, thesis projects, or preliminary grant studies. Please contact us for project details and data use agreements.
Currently available data highlights several key areas of college student development and well-being, including financial well-being (financial attitudes, behaviors, stress), social connectedness (interpersonal relationships, sense of belonging, social networks), and academic functioning (academic behaviors, persistence, performance outcomes).
